About

NYConneXions Online is a website maintained by the Journalism Society in Nanyang Junior College. We perform a wide range of duties: from reporting on current school events to offering critical reviews of the latest movies, music albums, fashion styles and computer games, as well as making in-depth original analysis of intellectual ideas and philosophical issues.

NYConneXions Print is a newsletter that is distributed free on a termly basis to the student body.

We meet regularly on Wednesdays at 3pm in Room 4-33. CCA meetings usually last between 1 – 2 hours, depending on how much needs to be discussed.

For further inquiries, please contact Sok Min (Deputy Editor) at 93629870.

Hi. I didnt get to sign up for NYConnexions on the CCA Bazar but after visiting this website, I feel I might consider joining a journalism CCA. Could anyone provide more details on this CCA for me, such as the time and day of the CCA session and what y’all do, etc…Thank you!

      Hello Tan Ha

We meet every Wednesday at Room 4-33 at 3PM. The meetings are usually relatively short as we take the time to discuss issues and articles. Most of the time, we’re involved with publishing articles on this website as well as working on the print editions, which are distributed to the school on a termly basis.

For further information, you could seek us out on Wednesdays at 3PM at Room 4-33 or contact Eunice at 85229552.

      Thanks a ton.

Thanks Piter … And no worries about the ‘bad English’. Actually, your use of English is not bad (I believe you’re from a place where English is not the native language). I hope you will continue to read our website – we will strive to keep our English standards up so that readers like you can learn to use the language better … And this is not a blog, it’s actually a journalism website run by a junior college in Singapore. Cheers!!
